Fruit and Veggies - More Matters Month

Fruits and vegetables should be a part of a healthy and well balanced diet. They provide vital nutrients and vitamins to help protect your body against diseases. They can help protect against heart disease, stroke and some cancers.

Getting the necessary fruits and vegetables can be really simple. Add some fruit to your cereal in the morning or cut up an apple for a mid day snack. By spreading out the servings of fruits and vegetables through out the day you can get all that you need with out making it a chore.
